Hi Everyone! My name is Shaun and my husband and I have adopted 3 Sheltie girls over the past year. We have two Sable and White girls and one Blue Merle. Marlie was the first in June and she is the youngest, just 2 years old and full of energy! I would like to get her into agility but we have some things to work on first! Zoe was our second in Aug. and she is 6 years old. She is pretty laid back but has so much personality. We found out not to long after we adopted her that she had Juvenile Kidney disease. We have her on the K/D food and she has stabilized so we hope to have her around for a while longer. Rasha is our third and we just got her at the end of Feb. She is also 6 years old and pretty laid back too. She is our Blue Merle. All 3 girls came from homes that couldn't keep them anymore. We are so glad that we were able to take them all in, they are all different but they all crack me up every day! I look forward to reading everyone's post and learning things from everyone as well. Thanks for reading and have a great day!

Welcome Fellow Michigander!

Welcome, Shaun!

My husband and I have a tri Sheltie, Sparky and a sable Sheltie, Max(well). Both were adopted through shelters (Kent County and Madison Heights). There former families didn't want them anymore, either:(

Welcome Shaun, Sheltie furkids.

Glad to have you on board the forums. Big Sheltie hugs to the girls, Marlie, Zoe and Rasha. You are another of our special people on this forum. You have given 3 lucky Shelties a second chance foreverhome. Keep us updated as to how Zoe does on the K/D food I'm sure you will have her around for a long time. Welcome again and looking forward to seeing you on the forums.:smile2:

Welcome Shaun and Shelties! :smile2: The magic number seems to be three here. We have a number of members with the furry triple. Shelties are like chocolate--more is better. :biggrin2:

Hi I am a Michigander also.

Welcome to you Shaun and your sweetie pies.
You can read all of my postings about Dasher and I by getting onto Tracy Kemmer. We live in Jackson. In the Fall of 2009 we are all moving to Lake Havasu City, Arizona. I have an animal hospital interested in my working for them out there. Also we are getting tired of the awful Winters in Michigan.:eek2:
Hope you enjoy the forum of Sheltie Nation as much as I do.:wink2:
