I'm sorry to hear about Max's heart murmur. I hope all works out well when the testing is done.I be curious to know who was Max's breeder? I have a pet shop pup a neighbor gave me named Gypsy with many health issues. Her breeder is in Mo. The land of puppy mills. Not sure if you are aware pet stores get their puppies from puppy mills where dogs are kept in horrid conditions, not tested for health issues and many will end up with many behavioral issues also. You can go to petshoppuppies.org and get a report on any health problems previous pups from your breeder had and also any health inspection reports from the breeder just fill out all info requested about Max and she will email you back with all info she gathered for you in a few days. There also alot of additional info on the site.
Thanks Dawn! I will look into that! And I have learned my lesson... puppy stores are bad news! I should have done my research ahead of time but hindsight is 20/20.
