It's cold here in Michigan 5 degrees give or take. My mix goes out does his thing and then barks to come inside. The bark is Don't leave me out! Now my sheltie Acres he is another story. You put him out and he rolls in the snow, and has a blast. He doesn't want to come in even for a treat. He acts more like a sled dog then a cute barking sheltie.

it was down to 0 yesterday it is little better today, favorite time for my gang... we were in pooch park early this am and one of other mix owner told me they had to go because his dog was cold... I was like what he is talking about... its balmy for the pups here...:smile2:
Air is dry and crisp with some snow but not wet to pack into paws... great weather!

We are finally having the deep freeze! The boys want in and out, in and out all day. Driving me crazy!

It is pathetic seeing them holding their paws up in the air because of freezing....come in, you silly boys!

Noah used to like lying out in the snow. My two now want in and out all the time - just to eat snow. I hardly fill the water bowls in the house.

You think it's cold downstate come on up to the UP. With the windchill yesterday it was -25 degrees. Fergus my cold loving, snow loving boy didn't want to be out very long. Baxter the chicken dog didn't want to go out at all.

a bit off topic- it's not that cold here, Cape Cod is a peninsula, so not as cold as other places. I used to live in Michigan, nearer to Detroit. I bet the UP is beautiful,
