so our pyr puppy, Jenna, is 5 months old now and getting so big! when we brought her home (at 10 weeks), she wasnt much taller then Gizmo. she has since grown just under 6 inches at the shoulder. Gizmo now likes to run underneath her, and can without ducking at all. she has also more then doubled her weight. she is about 47lbs now, and will probably double her weight by the time she is full grown. :eek2: had to share pics of our monster :razz:
(the first were taken today, the last 4 are just a few days after bringing her home.)

Corbinam, i think when they are puppies they can have shorter fur. her mom, at a year and a half, still had a shorter then average coat (though she had just had puppies), but her dad had the big heavy coat. and both were purebred. she is blowing her puppy coat right now :dead: so we will see how her coat turns out in the next few months, especially where it gets really cold here. when we picked her out, half her litter had short coats like this, the other half were long coats. so we not sure how she will turn out in the end. ive seen a pic of another female that had a coat like Jenna's as a puppy, and still ended up with a fairly large coat, though maybe not quite as full as others. you should see our carpet though. :eek2: just after we got her, gizmo blew coat, now she is, and i have really long hair and shed a ton. so our carpet is covered in hair :lol:
