This is the second time that this little one has come here for grooming.
So today I took some pictures of her.Her name is Sassy. She is part long haired chi & pomeranian.

Her owners are the folks that run the resturant were I work. And Linda (owners wife) has recently undergone a kidney removel due to cancer.I had groomed Sassy for her just prior to her surgery, which was 3 weeks ago.

She makes a good practice dog,to hone my grooming skills, which are still pretty much in learning stages.

Enjoy the pictures
1-Brian took this while I was blowing her dry.He said she looked like a model with her hair blowing all over. I could not believe how much hair I cut of her, especially on her legs.Afterwards,at least you could tell she had paws~
2-Making herself quite comfy afterwards
3- She really is liking this bed!
4- My favorite..."catch me if you can" She was all done at this point.I think she was shaking to make sure all her coat was in proper places!

Yes I am thinking that to.She has a cute little pushed in muzzle.I even got brave and did her face tonite.Could not ask for a better dog.She will fall asleep if I don't keep her in an upright stance.
She was squeaky clean as she was lathered up twice, and then a good conditioning.I used Plush Puppy on her.Ohhh she smelled great!

Miss Linda took her in from the shelter 4 years ago,she was really sick, full of worms that day.

Ya know we all know how our shelties have that second sense, and seem to be velcro dogs when we are sick.Well little Sassy has been glued to Linda since her surgery. It's like she just knows her mom is recuperating.

Hope that your friend has a full recovery. You are a kind soul to help her and take care of her pup.

I sat with Linda last night till David got home.Did some laundry, and changed bedding for her.She told me last night, that her pathology reports indicated that this cancer is not cureable.

And she will not undergo treatments. Her daughter passed away almost 5 years ago of cancer. She saw what her daughter went thru, and will not go thru it herself.
Right now just getting recovered from this massive surgery of having her kidney removed, has been difficult, and it will be a long recovery.

If I can do just these little things for her.Oh how she smiled when I brought her baby home, all clean & fresh. It made my day just to see her smile.

Wow Michele, what a wonderful thing to do for a good friend in such a time of need . You probably have no idea truly how special it makes her feel to have something a little extra special done while she is so sick. You're giving her a little distraction during a very difficult time..

May our Lord bless you beyond your wildest dreams today
