Kennel Club (UK) study on jump heights

Interesting. I especially found it interesting that a "flat" arc was the the least harmful to the body. Because how many times have I heard how it's bad to have a flat arc.

The height/weight ratio bit was interesting. I know it's one reason most agility ppl keep their dogs lean. Koji's very lean. Then I was like, oh, long legs, good. No wait, bad? LOL.

Overall, a good read. I am especially grateful that they explained the differences between dogs and horses (structurally and jumping wise), because I know so many people who compare the two and expect them to jump the same too. I also think, "how is it the same when the horse is carrying a passenger?". But I digress.

Thanks for the link. Good read!
