Whew, what a day! Rain, rain, rain. Then the sun comes out for an hour or so then more rain. I'll be glad when Fay finally gets out of town!
Lacey-Lou had her surgery today. She did fine and is resting comfortably in my room with a blanket over her crate. I have to keep her quiet for TWO WEEKS!
She is allowed to go outside on a leash alone to potty but can't run around with the other dogs to stimulate her or be free to run and bark like she used to do. She may not bark for the two weeks in order for things to heal properly with a minimum of scar tissue. The vet sent home some antibiotics for her (liquid cherry flavor)
It seems a little strange to not have her running around screaming at everyone but this has to be done for the surgery to be successful.
Brandi and Kadin had to have a good snif of her when she came home this afternoon but I didnt' allow them to interact with her. She seems content to stay where she is for right now but I don't know about the full two weeks. I imagine I'll have to find something to help her relax when she would rather be up running around playing.

What did Lacey get done? I can't remember if you said or not ? Two weeks of keeping her quiet and resting .
