Had a pretty decent outing with Storm She went 4 Quals for 7 runs, Cosmo had a good run going but pulled up lame off the frame on day one so He's on Injury recovery for a couple of months with the doggy Phisiotherapist Nothing serious its his old shoulder injury acting up Storm and him had a collision a couple of weeks ago while playing in the field and she smacked into his old injury pretty hard thought he was ok to run but I guess not. So He's out on Injured Reserve.

Anyway She got a Master steeplechase Q, a very special adv jumpers Q,
an ADV Gamblers Q and an adv Std Q, she missed 2 more adv std 's and the one that really hurt the Str Snooker that we needed for our Str Games title, but it was fully Handler error so I get the blame for that one,:sadsmile:

Adv Std 1: Good run but missed the weave entry so no Q

ADV STD #3: THE DISASTER RUN I broke from our normal procedure by taking her out 25 minutes or so before the run and letting her soicialize and have a good time, she just Blew me off when it was time to run and went to visit the ring crew something She has never done, did a peroette on the dog walk, and just did pretty much what ever she wanted too. LESSON LEARNED Stick to your routine PERIOD:

STR Snooker: Had a good Plan it worked for my training partner who got a Q using the plan with her BC at there first trial, so it was obvious handler error on My part , When she went to take the jump after the first set and I called her off I was so relieved I forgot what was next and when I targeted her at the end of the Walk I accidently moved forward and gave an forward arm swing so that's exactally what she did instead of stopping short and pulling her off the the side like I was supposed to, Cost us our Title , Crap Happens

Looks like you guys did very well! He's a very nice speedy dog!

As for your disaster run, the reason he did a spin on the dog walk was because you crossed behind it, and it was kind of late so he spun from your change of side :biggrin2:
 
Grate runs! I was very impressed with your handling (even though there was a couple little hiccups, it happens:winkgrin:). Can't wait to see more videos on your next trials.

I can't figure out what the main gamble was? I figured you got it, lol, but watched it three times and didn't get it, lol

Loved the Q standard run!
Really nice distance, no doubt in the dog's mind what her job was :D

Disaster run? well, looked just like you said probably routine off and green dog issues, once she was thrown off her game, but kudos for her to getting it back together towards the end
Also how HAPPY are we that we don't have to do a down anymore on the table, lol

I can't figure out what the main gamble was? I figured you got it, lol, but watched it three times and didn't get it, lol

Yes the wife was a bit slow on the camera, The Main gamble was a 20 ft straight out jump then a 110 degree turn to a another jump 18 feet out then a converging jump and then the tire. It was nasty as there were some jumps farther out and a lot of the dogs that actually went out that far then didn't make the turn and dummied on the Jumps farther out or just stopped dead after the first jump looking for what to do next.

They have been coming up with some real nasty gambles lately around here too lol, where it's not a straight line but just a box :(
but hey, nice that your wife has eyes only for you instead of the dog ;)
