Liam barking at my Dad

I think that may be the root of the situation. Liam may be picking up on these changes (plus the memory thing and fist shaking) and is confused by them, so he acts defensively.

I'm sorry for all that you're dealing with right now, it can't be easy. :(
 
Just a quick update - for the last couple of days, I have been recalling Liam to me and putting him in a sit when he comes, whenever he starts barking at Dad. It is a slow process, but he is learning that the behaviour is unacceptable. He is a tough nut (Liam, not my Dad) to crack and get to do what I want him to. We bang heads a lot for a dog and human. I have never had one so strong willed as he is.

Emma just looks at him like she is saying "Oh come on, behave yourself for once.":lol:
 
Kyara does this when we have friends over! I'll try that and see if it helps.
