All you have to do is look at the face, and your heart melts. BUT....

I call her my DIRT BALL DIVA! She is ready almost for a Sheltie Nursing Home
for Ol' Ladies. Her Highness has a poop shoot, as soon as she goes I have to
wipe her butt, or she makes poop skid marks on the patio.

Its the last poo that comes out and does not drop off. No its not her food, its
the same food she has been on, driving me nuts and I really don't know what
to do with her. LOL Lucky has me spoiled he is so clean about himself.

I am her nurse professional cleaner upper.

Anyone else have this problem?

Shelby has so much fur that despite trimming the poop shoot she still sometimes gets that last "squeeze off" stuck into her fur. Yesterday she came running into the house and of course a big piece of poo fell onto the floor. And of course I had to do the butt check, DH would probably vomit if he had to. LOL.

I have a box of baby wipes in the cabinet by the back door just for these situations.

Sorry I do. It have any suggestions, but just wanted to let you know you are not alone in this battle.

Shelby Mom, I think these two are related? I believe Monet is both of the
girls sire? I have butt wipes too. Glad I am not the only one. LOL Lady loves
this weather, and if I don't watch her close there is the skid marks.

She also thinks she is part boxer and wipes are mouth off on everything.
She goes in the bathroom and wipes her body off on the towel my DH
uses after a shower as he hangs the towel up.

Monet had a coat on him too, wonder if he is still around. He would be 15
I think.

Lady's litter was different. Tri boy, two merle girls, and Lady what she called
mahogany and sable. The breeder used Monet for the sire. Her Dam was a
pick pup from Canada. Long story on that one.

Addie has a poop chute, too. We do a "Poop Check" when she comes in the house if we saw that she poo'd. She stands there, witha violated expression, while we check. 80% of the time she is good, but if she has eaten any of my hair that is on the floor that got missed by the vacuum, all bets are off.

We bought baby wipes to use for this, lol.

Oh yeah. Us too. One little piece at the end that sticks to the poop chute. If I don't see it, it ends up falling off of her on the kitchen floor and she gets this horrified expression on her face that says, "I did not do that. It must have been you, Mom."

ditto

Savannah can have "trailers" as I dub them, sometimes they just don't fall off and so definitely baby wipes at the door. I can usually tell there will be issues if it takes her a longer time to eliminate. That is when we have the remnant issue. and if she does the boot scooting boogie to try and get it off on her own, then into the shower she goes, because it is a mess to clean that up. .I have a 3/4 shower deal the girls can walk into on their own and the shower head has a separate sprayer, so it can clear any mess off the back end quickly. Handiest deal for this kinda situation. And with the warm water hitting her backside, she doesn't seem to object much.

But you aren't alone, Kaleigh doesn't have this issue, nor did my previous ones, but Savannah is the walker-she doesn't squat like my others, and I think that causes more issues with evacuation. :eek2: It doesn't seem to have enough gravity, or something...

Oh lord, dealing with the Klingons is so much fun! Baby wipes out back and always a comb in my pocket to knock em off before they can butt scoot when we are on a walk. :rolleyes2:

Sable, Shelby's sire was Shakem. He too had quite a coat.

Shelby also cleans her face. Every night after she eats she must "wisker wipe" on all the furniture.

Shleby' mom, Jumba, Lanie, tesslyn, Margi, we are the
Professional Butt Wipers.

tesslyn I am laughing so hard it must be gravity or something.

Shelby's mom, you have a whisker wiper also.

Hugs to all, we need group hugs every once in awhile :hugs
