Little Tippler

I'm very glad to hear Annie Laurie is OK, Chris! What a scare. I recall years ago our Sheltie angel Bandit got into an unopened bag of Cadbury Easter eggs wrapped in foil. We came home to confetti all over our white family room rug from the shredded pieces. And the subsequent mess from the prescribed regurgitation was mind-blowing, but again, it was milk chocolate so he was OK. At that point, we didn't know there was a difference in the types of chocolate.

Moral to the story: Shelties are smart and sneaky and it's not pretty when they out-think us!

Caro: Sounds like Tully had quite a holiday! We should start a club for Sheltie owners whose dogs have given them grey hair! :rolleyes2:

I think when you own a sheltie, milk or white chocolate only allowed in the house is the safest rule. I'm afraid if anyone gives me dark choc it gets given back or goes straight in the bin (friends know my dogs anyway).

Tully is in a whole league of her own - chocolate loving, wine guzzling sweet tooth that she is. And of course, as Annie Laurie can well attest, the more out of reach it is, the better it tastes. When I ring the vet and say "It's Caro, guess what" their reply is, 'who ate what this time...'
