My first prospect is finishing up puppy class and then will jump into confirmation classes. I have absolutely no clue on how to show groom and my breeder is from VA. Anyone close enough to help? Willing to travel...
 
I live in Omaha and have been showing and grooming Shelties my whole life. Send me a PM. Even if I can't help you myself, I can hook you up with the local Sheltie community - I believe we have a few folks over the line in SD.
 
I took a class offered by my local club, but I really learned the most from asking tricks and tips from fellow owner breeders at the shows.

You can't go wrong with help from Megan, either!

Also, get "The Illustrated Guide to Sheltie Grooming", by Barb Ross. It's a lifesaver, IMHO
