Losing Teeth

So, Addie is 5 months old now, and she has lost all the little front teeth, and gotten her adult set in. She lost her bottom canines, and those are coming in nicely. She is starting to lose her puppy molars (or what I assume are called her molars). She lost one camping yesterday, and another this morning. Her teeth falling out freaks her out, and she comes to me each time, sort of panicky.

The only teeth not seeming to budge are the upper canines (fangs). Is there any way to speed up the process? If all her other adult teeth are coming in...shouldn't those be loose yet? She has a teeny under bite, and I am afraid that if her baby canines don't come out and the adults grow in, that it will mess her bite up further. Can I do anything about it? She won't eat raw carrots, she likes tug, but she can't get a good grip yet because the bottom teeth aren't in all the way yet.

Enzo took a while to lose those teeth as well. We ended up scheduling a vet appointment to have them pulled and right before we went in they came out! Yay! I'm not sure if it's the best thing to do or not but we did a lot of wiggling :)

Those were the last to fall out for Cruz as well.. I think he was nearly 6 months when they finally did come out. We did a lot of tugging, chewing, and manual wiggling to help the process.

Ok thanks! Was getting worried. We'll keep doing what we are doing and if by next month they haven't come out, I'll schedule an appointment with the vet to have them pulled.

I do not remember exactly how old Minnie was, but she was really long to lose the upper canines. (5-6 month)

A well beef bones with very little meat on, help finally

Yep, those were the last on Cubs too. We were in obedience class at the time we were losing teeth. Poor pup had 2 weeks of less than focus. You will survive this.

Had our trainer look today. The upper canines are poking through. She said give it a few days and if not loose to make a vet appointment. She said she thinks that once they come in a teeny but more, it might loosen them, but she isn't positive. She tried to wiggle them tonight but they weren't the slightest bit wobbly.

That's about when I made Enzo's appointment. Saw the adult teeth and noticed the baby teeth weren't budging. But then out of nowhere they loosened! Hope the same is true for Addie.
