YEAH I sure needed a Sheltie and agility fix, between Germany the Austrian Alps and Venice... but I was telling my family come hell or high water only thing I wanted to do for sure this time other than the planned family celebration, was to watch an agility trial there and I am so glad I got to meet Face and her Mom at that!:yes:

for me it was also interesting to get informations how agility works "over the big sea" :smile2:
some things are the same, but some totally different.

sadly you couldn't see any run of face :( need to catch up this part!!!

You know that I am seeing this, I'd need to make my first stop in New England, lol, Linda aka lightplum is practically on the way, too... can you imagine me camping on her gorgeous lawn and the gangs surprise? :biggrin2:

A friend I made through Sheltie Nation lives in Louisiana, plus I have never been further south than NYC! Severin from Pink Punk Puppy designs, her nick on here eludes me at the moment, lol I told her I would come visit one day to see the alligators!
I should time it with the Southern Sheltie get together if there is one next year ;)
 
I love it! How fun that you got to meet Face and Mom and got to see them run and all the other crazy fast dogs over there too.

I have to admit, I'm used to no course maps. When I started NADAC, they'd have them in a binder (so no taking the one copy they have). So I'd trace it. After awhile, you start to memorize them. The first time they didn't have any at all, I almost fainted. Yikes! But, I realized I was used to not really seeing a course map, so I was good. NOW, I'm sure those German courses are WAY more confusing, but y'know, I'm sure they're used to it, lol. We're obviously spoiled.

Oh wait, I read something about beer at the trial. They're definitely more spoiled. So, instead of lack of maps, they have beer. They gotta make it up to them somehow, hehehe.

Glad to hear your family survived the agility day. :)
