Just wanted to mention that I went to the Atlanta pet fair (big dog grooming trade show) and I found this spray called "Mellow Pet"
its an aromatherapy spray that helps ease anxiety and nervous behavior. I bought some for use around my grooming shop and for use with Ruckus (horrible anxiety issues, he is even on anxiety medication!) and it does actually help!

I was skeptical at first about the whole aromatherapy scene, but now I am so glad I gave it a try.
you can order it from show seasons.
I think the address is www.showseasons.com or you can just google it.

Interesting....when I groom the pups I can treat them to a spa-like experience! Manicure, pedicure and aromatherapy! :smile2:

a spa day for shelties! You can also take you some good dog conditioner and warm it up in the microwave. then put it on you pups and warp them in a warm towel for about 5 minutes! It makes their coat super soft and silky, and it works much better than normal conditioner. You can put it on their paws and wrap the paws in plastic wrap for 5 minutes to and it will condition dry cracked feet. and of course rinse it out.

My two spoiled babies get this done to the every couple of months.

Wow! What a good Mom you are! I was kinda joking about the spa, but I think it's terrific that you take such great care of your pup!

LOL thanks

But personally I think I am over the top, and spoil them too much. Lets not even talk about the gourmet dog treats.

I am always brushing, bathing, spraying, or dremeling on my duo. I always tell them

"sorry guys I cant help myself, your mommy's a groomer"
I know they go to the dog park and tell all their friends how horrible it is to have a dog groomer as a mom!
