Mercury danger in salmon-based dog food?

I was wondering if anyone knew if there was any danger of mercury in the salmon-based dog foods.
I haven't found anything on it, but I was wondering, since most salmon has trace amounts of mercury, if this was any reason to be concerned regarding dog food with salmon in it?

I know, I know -- I am an overly paranoid parent! :lol:
 
Well I am aware that humans have to limit the consuption but you can still eat it . I am unaware of any resrictions on salmon for shelties. Of course just like anything else everything in moderation.:lol:
