Micro chip or tatoo

All our dogs have been CKC registered. Our first 3 tattooed and our present babes are chipped. Shep and Shandy were tattooed in the groin and Shelby in the ear. Our husky is tattooed on the ear also. Here when you licence your dog the tattoo # goes on their info and if chipped it is stated so on the form. I do find it scary that the chips can migrate but as most breeder here do chip we probably don't have much choice.
