What worries me is that the listing on petfinder has the same name (only different spelling). Didn't anyone at the pound know this dog was a missing one? When they are posted on K9Amber Alert it usually means the local area has already been blanketed with flyers & calls to shelters, rescues & vets. It's too bad petfinder.com doesn't have the lost & found pets classifieds. I also check www.petharbor.com for lost & found pets. Their list of local groups is usually fairly large & they send notices to them when you post a lost pet.
