Wow, this is stunning, I find!
I really love this video, it also has the whole sequence in slow motion with some labels on what she does at the middle of the video.

As the discussion in the past has already gone on, but now I changed my mind as I find it's good to learn or know about techniques evolve as the sport evolves, how we're all going to do that, who knows.
I am really starting to change my mind, after some of the great discussions we've had on here and even tho I'm still never really looking to compete in Nationals, I now am starting to think that some of these moves aren't exclusive on whether I'm competitive or not, they are going to be damn fun to try out!!!! I am not all that technical, but I can see the difference in Toffee now that I am handling with a little bit more speed myself and since we changed training in our group to include a lot of new handling,
So more blind crosses, here we come, after all my hand wringing and saying no, not going to happen, I am now on my way and Toff and I are saying the hell with it, let's just go crazy ;)
I guess what I am saying is that yeah, Europeans got a lot right! I am going to continue to change my handling and train some of these things I previously thought I couldn't and wouldn't. You guys were right all along, lol

We started learning blind crosses in class last night. I kind of like it, but will have to work on it. I'm still working on front crosses .

I love blind crosses, and use them quite frequently with the chihuahuas. At first they were a bit intimidating.....not being able to see your dog for a brief moment, but now they are so natural and easy. I find we just flow through the courses better than we used to. :smile2:

I only do blind crosses when I've already NQ'd. :smile2: I did one at the bottom of the a-frame once, and the dog never blinked. AWESOME.

These past two weekends I have been able to get ahead and cross in front of the teeter so he came down looking at me. That's never happened before. He gets his first private lesson this weekend. More for me than him really.
