Morris

Hi from Australia and welcome.

You'll find a lot of Shelties on this forum are over the standard (16" or 41cm), there's even some members with Shelties as big as 50+cm! My Deska is about 41cm, but he looks like a giant next to my Tully who's about 32cm. Until I got Tully all my Shelties had been around Deska's size so I got comfortable with the bigger size.

Thank you Caro; i agree with you about the comfortable size, also because Morris is my first dog and i wanted at first a bigger dog, like a border collie or a labrador, but my wife wanted a little one like a pinscher or a maltese; also i got two kids...so Morris, i think, is the best "in the middle".
the only concern is about breeding, maybe he is too big ( here breeders have the british standard, smaller if i understand well)
but ok is not now, we will see

Morris are to big for breeding just like Minnie are
The breeder had taken Minnie for breeding, but I was so lucky she got too big
- so now I have the perfect size for me :hugs
The breed's ideal goal (37 cm for males and 35.5 cm. For bitches +/- 2.5 cm.).
