Most Favorite Agility Memory

Definitely our first Q. For me, it was a Starters Jumpers run. I was so proud! I think I started crying :biggrin2: I'm a bit more jaded now, and always want to Q! Haha.

I don't have even an itsy bitsy trial behind me
LOL

When Toffee jumped that tire he had never even seen as if it was nothing... proceeded by his first time being held by his collar by my trainer!

Agility Memories

What's YOURS?
You'd have some great trial stories to tell!!?

Mine also would be Shadow's first Q and his biggest JWW at the (Thanksgiving Cluster in 2006 largest AKC Agility Trial In The Country)where he won the class beating out 80 sixteen inch dogs.

There are many things I could point to. Each one is of equal importance and a 'favorite' for different reasons.

Edan's...
  • First Qs (5 out of 6 in his first trial EVER).
  • First successful gamble; about 6 foot lateral distance. This also completed CPE Level 1.
  • Second successful gamble; about a 15 foot forward send.
  • First perfect weekend - 10 for 10!

Each one marks an achievement in our training and teamwork making them each very special.

ITA! I still love Koji's first Q. Where he decided to greet the judges, I got lost a bit, but we still Q'd. :)

I was so very proud of his first AKC Standard run. Mostly because that meant he could (and did) do ALL obstacles. Yay!

Those are my proudest moments which also equate my favorite agility moment.

The 2006 ASSA National Agility. It was my first trial with my own dog. I had been running my dad's old dog, who was never under time, but that was my first trial with my very own dog. He Q'd in Standard, did not Q in Jumpers, but that was my fault. I also ran an 11 year old dog in Novice Jumpers Preferred. She was clean, but sooo far over time. It didn't matter, we all still cried.

I still have the silver bowl that Marque got for his 1st place Novice A leg.
