Snookers didn't look too bad, considering I didn't even realize I signed up for a Snooker run, like am I crazy? lol
Anyhow, he did great, I am pleased with him... Still miles and miles to go, but he's clearly loving it and having fun, as am I.
I thought I didn't Q the gamble because I made the training decision to get him back by asking for a hand touch, and then I thought ooops.. but hey that is what green handlers need to learn!! Thankfully the judge let this one slide, also good that Toffee was employing his infamous dainty, phantom nose touch without actual touch, lol
My hole to fix is the obstacle differentiation between teeter and dogwalk. My criteria for this trial was only that he take the teeter and run confidently, so that was accomplished and I couldn't be prouder, I had never attempted it before and really only proofed it a bit last two weeks. He's never had an issue with the dogwalk before in all the fun matches, but I presume it's all the recent value building for the teeter and when this dogwalk didn't teeter he was freaked out, plus I got too far ahead of him both times, lol. So goal is to give dogwalk a verbal Q, I used up up up with a frame and dogwalk previously, but I better start using walk it...
Once again great startline stays and lead outs and solid weaves, which are much faster at home, but I hope that comes with a bit more trial experience and confidence...
Also pleased with his balance of handler vs obstacle focus, my gosh what a great starter dog for a green handler like me
