I was reading in a new dog magazine I got and it suggested switching off to another protein source after you finish a bag. The author likened it to us giving a child the same thing over and over. Makes alot of sense.

This is what I do....I switch between three different varities of the same brand of dog food, so that the protein is altered. I always mix in the old, so that it is gradual, but this way the dogs have all the enzymes they need to digest a variety of protein sources.

Before I started feeding raw, I did this I rotate though the different protein sources of the food I was feeding . Diva has always been fed this way, Ember and Justice the last 2.5ys.

Diva has a cast iron stomach and loves everything I have ever given her. I couldn't even get her to vomit with hydrogen peroxide when she ate the chicken package liner. Thankfully it passed no problem.
