My puppy had a PDA, should his breeder "retire" the parents?

I have a 9 month old sheltie that had a PDA corrected about 1 month ago....should the breeder retire the parents?
I have no idea, but was just curious if this should be addressed!
Thanks for any input!

For me as a breeder, I'd be unlikely to use any dogs in a litter that contains a PDA (there are likely murmers or other similar issues in the litter, I'd have them all seen by a cardiologist). And because of how it seems to inherit, I'd be unlikely to use that particular combination of sire/dam again.
