Come to think of it, Skully and Shilo did originally meet out on walkies, before we had the fence. Unfortunately, even though Skully still gets his two walks a day, we haven't seen Shilo off his property for months ... perhaps a year. It appears they only bring him outside anymore to relieve himself and the rest of the time he's in the house. I think it's mostly out of frustration with his behavior, although, to my knowledge, they've never educated themselves on effective socialization or training.
I think I am going to have to go the route of keeping the pups away from Shilo for a while.
