New Advanced CGC (CGCA) Certificate/Title

I was wondering if anyone has attempted, or is considering trying, the new Advanced CGC (CGCA) test?

I was going to attempt it with Edan and CJ next time it's offered by our club's obedience instructor as part of her class. (She does a few times a year; roughly ever other session.) Our obedience instructor is an approved AKA CGC/CGCA judge and it won't cost us anything but time to attempt it.

The information about the Advanced CGC requirements are on AKC's website, http://www.akc.org/dogowner/training/akc_community_canine/about.cfm.

I've heard of it. I posted about it in November- http://www.sheltieforums.com/showthread.php?t=19843

I am interested in it, but looking at the brochure, there are a couple areas my dog would fail! Mostly the distractions part..

I haven't seen our trainer post a class for it, but I'm sure I'll hear about places to test soon. When we got the CGC, we took a class first.

My club is offering a CGC CGCA, and TDI test on June 1. I'd invite you in for it but, unfortunately, that's when our CPE trial is so I can't even take the CGCA then. I'll have to wait until Arlene offers it with her basic obedience class, probably August. That will be on a Monday night.
