New Foster Sasha

Sasha was delivered to my home last Friday. She is as sweet as can be. She's a well adjusted happy little girl that always has a sheltie smile for everyone. She is seven years old but doesn't act it at all. Sadly she has not been taken care of and hasn't received any immunizations since 2005 including heartworm protection so we need to get her up to date on shots and pray that she isn't positive for heartworm. I doubt that she will be with me for very long.... She has been shaved down to a puppy cut so all of her lovely outer coat is gone. It may take years to grow back. If it ever will...

What a darling little girl!! I don't blame you, Treader's Mom -- that little face could turn everyone into a foster-wanna-be! :cool:
 
What a cute girl!! It makes me so sad that people take on the dogs and then do them such injustice. Sunchaser you have a very big heart! I could never foster dogs, they would never leave. I wouldn't trust anyone else with them! Thank God for people like you! :biggrin2:
 
Sasha is a lucky girl and you are a very special person. I agree with Shaun...I couldn't do the foster thing because I would be overrun by Shelties, they would all have to stay! She is very sweet! :yes:
 
You are a very special person to foster dogs Sun Chaser, I couldn't do it, I'd have to keep them all.

Sacha is a beautiful girl even with her short coat. She has very pretty markings and a very expressive face. I'm SURE she is going to be gorgeous when her coat comes in :yes:

Sunchaser you have a special heart and soul. You will be rewarded for taking in the unfortunate animals. :biggrin2:They learn about caring in a loving Home. I fostered a dog 6 years ago. he was a mini Poodle. His owner brought him in for grooming and she had a stroke after she had dropped him off. :eek2: Her son wouldn't take poor little Rudy. :cry:So happens My Jewel was being groomed that day and when I went to pick her up is when I noticed Rudy. The groomer asked me if I was interested in adopting Rudy. I already had 2 dogs and 3 cats, so I fostered him instead and in about 2-3 weeks we found him a forever home with an older person just as he was use to. The happy endings is what makes it great. Beat of luck with Sasha and finding her a new forever home.:yes:
