Hello, We have a 5 month old sheltie puppy and we are interested in agility training (we have only had him for 2 weeks). I've borrowed a couple books from the library on agility training but there are not alot to choose from(at the library). I am interested in purchasing some, does anyone recommend any good books on agility for beginners? I have also contacted two training centers in my area and am making arrangements to visit them. What should I be looking for in a training center?
Besides some good books on agility and what I shold be looking for in a training center. What are some of the things you love most about agility? What are some of the biggest things my puppy and I should learn first? I know what the books say; sit, stay, down, and a great recall. What do you think? What have you experienced?
