nose bump + gap

ok let me try and explain .my sheltie i notice yesterday having a bump right above her nose .if you look at her from the side you can see it .also notice there is a gap or feels like a gap just above her nose all around.is that normal.i never felt that before and i had her for 4 years now.she doesn't cry or complain when i touch it but not sure if she would cry or whine as people say they would maybe sme dogs are different not sure.i thought i ask before seeing what to do maybe bring her to the vet .any advice sorry hard to explain .
 
It hard to say without seeing a photo.

I know that Milo my parent's sheltie has a spot on his snout that is slightly more raised (sort of like the bump on the bridge of my nose that I hate :rolleyes2:) but its definitely nothing abnormal.

Funny that you posted this. I just noticed the same thing on Marlie my 2 1/2 year old. I think it is normal. I felt my other two girls noses and they have the same gap right above their noses but not the bump. I think the bump might just be a special feature on some dogs. I wouldn't worry about it if it is not bothering her. Maybe just make a note and the next time you are at the vet ask about it.
 
well glad everything will be fine with her.like i said she doesn't complain when i touch in that area and i will for sure mention it to the vet next time i go.just a worried daddy lol

Unsure about the nose thing especially without a photo to judge by. But welcome to the forum and I'm certain you will enjoy it here.
