Not an issue

You all may remember that last month our chiropractor mentioned that we might want to take Lexi to have someone take a look at her patella (in this thread). She felt that it might be slightly luxating. Of course this sent me into a tailspin of worry, and we finally got in to see an agility vet tonight.

And thank goodness she did not feel that it was an issue. She did feel a little looseness on the right leg and said that the patella only moved the slightest bit, and just a part of it was over the edge of the trochlear ridge.

I am so relieved! She would not even classify it as a level 1. Naturally we will keep an eye on it, but I am so happy.

Hooray! (Picture is Lexi jumping for joy-ha!)

Oh yay! Good to know. Especially since Lexi obviously likes to jump (great photo!). Is it something she said to keep an eye on? Or it's just not an issue?

She felt that it's one that likely won't manifest at all in any way. But, there is a looseness there so it's something to just be aware of.

So we'll watch for her favoring one side, skipping when getting up, etc..As much as she jumps and runs I suspect that we'll know immediately if something is wrong.
