NYT article on puppy developement

Great article, super interesting that the intense, rotating socialization did not have an impact. Makes sense though, that there is a threshold for that.

Yeah and like people some dogs are exceptionally good at doing certain things and other are just happy dogs. I think we have all seen that each dog has its own personality and I liked the part on the developmental breakdown as well. I was at a large gathering of people, food, and loud music the other day- some people brought their dogs and I was amazed at how calm they were in the mess of noise, music, people and food-- mine would have freaked out. I did see one dog on a leash try to sneak over and get a bite of a hamburger off the plate of the guy sitting next to me-- I had to smile and thot yup I've seen that before..he was stopped in time.
