Obtrack Skrylle dog coats

One of my instructors is looking for this coat in a size 7 for her BC, and I'm considering getting one for Phebe to keep her warm between training runs to avoid injury. Clean Run used to carry them in all sizes, but when I checked their site last night they only had sizes 1 and 3. I just thought I would ask here on the off-chance that someone may have seen them available in a store or at dog show vendor.

Obtrack Skyrlle

Margaret, I haven't seen these specific ones, but I'll keep an eye out.

Are you considering anything similar? Or this exact brand?

Thanks, Ashley, since I was looking for someone else I don't know what they might consider. Sharon talked with Clean Run and they told her that the Swedish company that made this coat has gone out of business. :(

I am looking for something else for Phebe and even considering ordering the coat that is one size too small that Clean Run has or another coat they carry that is somewhat similar. The manufacturer's site says to order down if you're between sizes and the fabric is 4-way stretch.

Bummer about the company.

A lady in our club just got a similar-looking coat for her BC. I'll ask her where she got it.

Bella has had one of these since she was an adolescent pup and I love it. I was sad to hear they stopped selling them. I was recently considering buying one for the new border collie boy and I believe the exact wording the person I spoke to used when describing their attempts to contact them was "appear to have fallen off the face of the earth". :confused2:

Not sure what I'm going to go with now. I've heard good things about the new D-fa coats, but geez....talk about expensive. They put the pricing on the Obtrack coats to shame!

And just for kicks (since I have always been amused at how the obtrack makes my tiny little sheltie look like her head is way too large), I attached a picture of her taken when she was still a pup. :biggrin2:

Are you sure? I've heard that they don't take orders right now, but will start again.
I have read on the swedish website, can't find any information that the company is out of business.

Since you're in Sweden, maybe your information is better than what we've been able to get from Clean Run. Or, it's possible that they're only going to sell in Europe in the future. If you ever hear that the coats will be available in all sizes again, I would like to to know about it.

I will try to get some more information for you!

Update: Have sent an e-mail to the company and have asked for more information. Will do an update here when I hear some more!
