So I was trying to find some new toys for Vash today because the ones he has seem to simple for him and I found a website with a few new toys that I thought were funny. I think I may end up buying a couple.

Pooch Ball: http://www.jefferspet.com/ssc/produ...CDJE6WNJMRL9PG4KE1NMSCUEU6KFA34&pf_id=0033009

Consider also the Hide-a-Squirrel or Hide-a-bird line (recently posted). I've rediscovered it and still a favourite with my boys

Ann (or was it Chris?) installed a tether ball for her pups. Its next on my list.

I bought hide-a-squirrel and Vash does like to play with it. But he loses intrest unless theres food inside, or I'm squeaking the squirles and tossing them.

He's not what I'd call an "independant toy pup". He likes to fetch things and pretty much expects me to play tug, or toss what ever toy it is for him to go retrieve unless it's got food in it. In which case he'd rather tackle me, take the toy, eat the food and run away.

He's also a bit too smart, and lazy. On the more difficult toys he'll get frustrated easily and start whimpering with the sad "Hey, I've been trying to get that treat for 2 min straight and it's not working. So either you come over here and get it for me, or I'm going to quit" face.

The smart stuff happens on easier toys or with other games we play. He'll figure out a way to follow the rule which allows him to get a treat, but not do exactly what you wanted. Like the hide-a-squirrel, rather than pulling the squirels out when food is in it, he'll shove his face into the log disregarding all squirels along the way.

Anyway I posted these toys because I hadn't seen them before anywhere else, the cat and ice cube one look like they'd be a ton of fun for my pup.
