"Old Soldiers Never Die..."

remind myself every day how lucky I was/am to have my old soldier with me during this year of isolation, and how happy he was/is to have me home with him. Although every once in a while I get all teary becuase I know every day is one day closer to goodbye. I only hope he is as lucky as Beckon (hopefully) to not have pain when it is his time

Cindy I couldn’t agree more. We say the same thing. Shelby has been the one constant in our lives during this pandemic. My husband has been working from home since March, alone with Shelby all day, every day. She is the reason we have been able to get through this mess. I couldn’t imagine going through this without her.

I always tell people...our pet's entire life revolves around us. I think during all this our lives are revolving around them a bit more than normal.
