Olive the mountain goat

Sugar, my eskie will do this. Sugar and Tessa do try to clean the dishwasher too, when i am trying to load it. they try to rinse the dishes for me
but none of my others have

Olive 'helps' me with the dishwasher as well. When she was little, she would actually go IN the dishwasher. If I had the rack pulled out, she would get in behind it and try to lick dishes from there. I think she thought I couldn't see her!

I am guessing Jamie and Birch Darn genetics! Who knew that there was a gene for table cruising?

Thankfully, we don't have this problem...Olive is quite lovely and full of herself.

She sure is! Terrible teens... She didn't even get it that I was not happy with her walking around the table. I am concerned she would jump directly off and break a leg.

I had this problem today- even after saying I won't leave food on the end table.

I left my cereal bowl on the table while I walked away to switch the laundry - then I heard this clink that definitely wasn't her tags on her water bowl. Turns out it was her hitting the spoon out the way. I come back to her standing on the arm of the sofa and her muzzle dripping with almond milk.

So, I leave the table for 30 seconds to fill up my glass, and this is what I see. Olive eating my daughter's chicken curry. This, the dog who refused a tidbit of ribeye steak from my husband a few weeks ago. There must be mountain goat in her pedigree! Anyone else had this problem?

I'm sorry -- I'm laughing so hard at this picture that coffee is coming out of my nose!!!

I spoke too soon! I had a chair pulled out because I was using it to reach something, and I forgot to push it back in. I looked over, and Missy was on the table eating the cat's food!

*Side note- yes, I feed the cats at the table. I don't ever really eat there. I used to feed them on the ground, but when the puppy came they got moved to the table. I do have a little placemat for them and clean the table off when I have guests come over!
