Only likes to play with other Shelties

Thanks for the information - trying to find a trainer that will help with desensitization is difficult in this area. Most trainers in this area focus on basic, obedience, etc in which we have done already. I have been thinking about just doing the advanced obediences over and over. But she is very independent, like when you work on recalls, she will come but will prance towards you instead of running at you.

I live in a small place too so I understand. Tully did obedience but it did nothing for her confidence. What has made a huge difference is 1. flyball and 2. agility. Then she gets to enjoy herself running around and sees the other dogs in a fun environment. In flyball in particular they actually develop relationships with the dogs around them, but also in agility classes the dogs interact.

I dont think obedience is that great at helping with interdog relationships. A friend of mine has a Goldie that usually wins the obedience comps but is aggressive around other dogs
