Since Wednesday I've been transitioning Ariel to potty outside. We're still using the pads on the screen porch because of my grass situation I mentioned in an earlier thread. It's going very well. Only 3 slip-ups, and 1 was not her fault. The other 2, the little stinker waited until we got back inside and then promptly went. But, I can tell she's "getting it."

I found this pdf Housetraining Manual online and found it pretty good. Perhaps it will be of use to someone else with a puppy.

That's good news that she's starting to get it! I'm biased, but I really believe that the earlier that dogs learn that all "business" is done outside, the better (understanding, of course, that there can be extenuating circumstances sometimes).
