Our first agility competition

Thank you for all of your advice We made it up to the club today for one last practice before the show but unfortunately we had a bit of a scare on the seesaw. It's as if he forgot it was going to move and he came flying of the end before it hit the ground and then he wouldn't even touch it, but luckily by the end of the class had him on it again but I was controlling it to the ground. I am unsure now though if I should just skip it on the course, I'll probably have been eliminated by then if it is closer to the end .

Yes, I would skip the teeter this time. There are too many variables with a first trial, and there's not really anything to be gained by having him do something he's not completely comfortable with. Plenty of time to get him back on track with the teeter.
