Hey all
Well finally back to work after a month off. our little vacation trial in cottage country wasn't Quite as successful as hoped for although we did get 3 firsts in 3 events in a 6 dog class, No Q's though. I rented a new town & country Minivan for 2 weeks and it was awesome, held all the dogs stuff and our stuff for the 2 week trip, the dog and Us both love it. The weekend on the trail was brutle, temps for the 2 days we were there were 9 am 102 degrees an by 2pm over 114 degrees and the humidity was stiffling. So I am not holding anything against Cosmo for his lack of performance, as I was dying too. the field was in full sun
all day.

Day One 10 am 105degrees:

WE just missed a Gamble Q by one point, everyone thought we had it did the mini twice successfuly and a spred jump and teter and tire had a successful gamble SCT was 64 sec
we did 58 unfortunately when they posted the results I only had a 19 point opening AUGGG!!! , still took a first place though.

2:30PM temp 114 degrees
starters std run was clean but 6 sec over SCT- all other dogs had multiple faults
so we took a first here too, Cosmo was slow and I don't blame him man was it Hot

Day 2 10 am 105 degrees
starters std- another run clean run but I think he remembered yesterday as I just could not get him to run period he basicially walked/ trotted around most of the course
and was 10 seconds over SCT.... I Cant believe we got a first place for this run,
as there were 5 dogs in the class, 2 went running wildly off course and the other 2 got about half way through the course and just layed down and wouldn't do it periodit was like the said OK enough is enough I am not doing this, but we did LOL even if it was at 1.5 YPS

SO the Trial portion of the vacation was pretty much a bust, the rest of the vacation was a blast though.
