Pico's drive up the west coast

this was the same route I took with Gavin when he was healed from his cancer surgery and radiation.
Gavin loved the beaches more so we stopped more for him to play, but he didn't get to to Canada as we had only a week for our trip (we cut over to Eugene and down through Grant's Pass and Redding)
 
You’re very brave to do a road trip like that all by yourself Cindy! Especially to another country lol although Canada is quite tame by some standards. There are still a lot of crazy people who prey on single women!

I am no longer young enough to fall into that demographic!
and travelling with a Sheltie makes me so much memorable for people, I am not likely to 'just disappear'.
And I am Life360'd with my brother's family so they can track my phone's GPS (and did as I traveled through Canada)
When I was younger (with Gavin 15 years ago) traveling, I made a point of checking in with park rangers and the like so there was a 'trail'.
