Pico's first rain

just heard on the weather channel that some parts of CA got a month's worth of rain in one hour:eek2:
which is not good for an area that isn't used to that kind of precipitation.
with tropical weather, we get tons at one time but still - no one needs that much rain at one time................

It was a slow-moving heavy rain all day yesterday, ended up with about 5 inches in 24 hours, but my friend a few miles away in the foothills got over 6 inches. Luckily not flooding in our neighborhood, the local creek is deep and semi-lined with concrete so it held. Supposed to start drying out today.

Oberon hates the rain. He'll go outside but doesn't really want to walk; he just does his business and wants to come back inside. He also walks around puddles -- we call him a little prince-let because heaven forbid he get his precious paws wet!

Oreo doesn't seem to quite understand that when it's raining he's going to get wet so he does and then he looks back like at his tail and down at his feet in utter confusion.
Cody was the same way. It was so funny to see him walking on his tippy toes, like he would melt if his feet got wet. He avoided puddles too.

My crew is not a fan but they still go out an do their business but what they do love love love is the towelies afterward that is play time X 10
