Piper doing "heel free"

I'm so excited for and proud of my little guy Piper, he's doing so well with obedience (less than 2 weeks til our first trial) and it just amazes me how much better he gets every week. He's finely gotten his heel down pat (this was the hardest thing of all for him) and I've been working on his focus (another tough one) but I've started to take him to a busy place to do heeling and his focus (mall, grocery store, pet store etc) and what a difference. We're entered in Pre-Novice and then theres another show beginning of July we'll enter Novice. Here's a link to a video where we're practicing heel free

Thank you for the positive comments. Piper has progressed so much just in the last month. Just this past March I was considering giving up obedience (for doing trials) but I'm really glad I stuck with it, I figured I'd just take it one day at a time and see what came of it. I gotta say that doing obedience is probably the hardest and yet most rewarding thing I've ever done and of course Piper loves it and that's the most important thing.
