Please help finding a missing senior collie in Spelter WVA

This came to me in an email from the K9AmberAlert group. Please pass it along & help if you are in the area. I know how frightening it can be to have a missing senior sheltie so I hope this collie"cousin" is found safe & soon.

Spelter, WV - Jo Ann Jones is coordinating the search for this old boy who took off after a deer. This is a rural area without many dog resources please help.


URGENT!!! I NEED HELP IN FINDING LOST COLLIE IN THE Spelter, Rt. 19 north area. Please, call me at 304-592-9161 IF you can help in any way..we need bodies (Preferable live ones ) I can't walk, but I can direct the search. See the picture below.. Old Collie 13/14 years old..does not need to be out in this cold..PLEASE...COME ON "KIDS" I NEED HELP. IT'S NOT MY DOG, BUT IT'S A DOG AND IT NEEDS OUR HELP. MAKE SURE YOUR CELL PHONES ARE CHARGED!! PLEASE!!! I KNOW THERE ARE A LOT OF KIND, DOG LOVERS OUT THERE, AND IF IT WERE YOUR DOG, I'D BE RIGHT THERE HELPING YOU!!!!!

I checked the Facebook post & there has been no updates. Tri-State collie rescue has tried contacting the people but no response. I hesitate to call the # listed by the poster. I also tried checking craigslist for that area thinking surely someone posted about him there. Nothing. Seems odd to me. I sure hope it is not a fake & that he is found safe soon.
