Thanks, but the breeder had second thoughts on the sale. But, that just means eventually I will get one from one of the many top breeders from my sheltie club locally:).

I'm so sorry. I have had that happen to me once.....I was devastated and thought that I must have left a terrible impression on meeting her and her dog. What did I do or say wrong?

Bottom line....nothing.....we just did not click, and she decided her older dog needed to got to a single dog home. Nothing wrong with that, and I decided not to take it personally. It happens.

A good breeder is very protective of their dogs. I almost lost the sale of my new pup because I posted a question about him on FB instead of asking the breeder. I think that's a sign of a good breeder, who really does have a vested interest in her dogs.
