Pupsicles !

My a/c was broken a few weeks ago when we had that really hot weather. My younger sheltie didn't seem to mind too much but my older boy seemed uncomfortable. I was feeding them ice cubes which they loved to crunch up. But then I opened a box of chicken broth and froze it in ice cube trays . The boys LOVED them ! It seemed to help the old boy cool down as well.

I give them as treats still occasionally - they really enjoy crunching them up. I call them pupsicles
 
great idea! I bet mine would like them, they don't go for plain ice cubes but I've been adding yummies to water & freeze & they like that. I bet they'd go for broth esp. in this heat! :winkgrin:
 
Acie LOVES the plain ice cubes. Every time she hears the ice machine on the refrigerator go off, she comes running and sits right there and waits for you to give her some. If she wants some and we're not near it. She'll go up to the fridge, sit and barks til she gets some. Chicken Broth cubes sounds like something she'll like.
