Questions concerning crate

Also, my friends parents gave me some dog toothpaste, how often and how i suppose... do you brush his teeth and trim his nails?

We trim nails weekly here. It's much easier to keep them short than it is to get them short after letting them get long. For the teeth, I think most vets recommend a few times weekly. We manage at least once weekly here, sometimes more. We prefer the finger brushes, things that look like a finger cot with bumps. The earlier you start both of these activities, the better your dog will get used to them.

I bad....I don't do teeth and I know I should! Now that the boys are over one year, their sweet puppy breath is a thing of the past!

Nails - I try to do weekly, but worst case, bi-weekly. You want to keep the nails trimmed short. If you let them grow, the quick (that's the sensitive part of the nail) grows with the nail. Once the quick gets too long, its extremely difficult to get nails short again.

Also good to get pups in the habit early of having ears, teeth, nails, manipulated.
