well today was Callie's annual exam and it was pouring. Callie is not fond of rain so I dug out the raincoat that I bought for Happy (pre-Callie). She let me put it on her and I think that she was happy to not be getting wet. so these pix were taken because she had it on. and everyone said how cute she was and commented that Happy was getting wet. so we always go to the pet store after the vet- the usual shop didn't have any coats so we ended up at Petsmart where I bought Callie her very own raincoat with duckie trim. so I did make Happy where his coat for a pic- only fair that they both get the raincoat pix- and lots of treats as we were at the place of many treats :wink2:

What type of dog is Happy. He is very cute looks alot like dear departed my Jazz, JRT/beagle miX

at the shelter, they said he was a beagle/lab mix. We had Pets in the Park a few weeks ago and one of the pet stores was selling one of the canine breed tests (Biopet) at a much reduced rate from in the store. so we bought one and should get results in another couple weeks- I'll let you know what comes out. I do suspect some kind of terrier- my vet thinks maybe cocker.

Cool. I wish those tests would have been cheaper when Jazz was alive. They were $170 or so. I wanted to know but not a $170 want. I was told she was JRT/Beagle. She acted like a JRT, had a hound timber to her bark but i always wondered if something else was there. I had people guess lab, cocker or brittney

Well, Happy's results are in from Biopet (60+ breeds)- 75% Beagle/10-19% Keeshond.
I was pretty sure about the Beagle part- still think there might be some other stuff in there but this company doesn't have the biggest list. but it's one of the cheaper tests. I do want to do it again with one of the companies with more breeds like Wisdom or Metamorphix.
