Rubberized Contacts

The trial this weekend had rubberized contacts. Wow, I wish all clubs would switch to using it. Dogs seemed to handle it much better than traditional sand. I saw fewer fly offs and bailed contacts on it. I really liked it. It seems to provide better grip than the sand.
I think after AKC finishes up requiring 24" weaves that should be the next goal.... rubberized contacts. I can't see how anybody would want sand after trying the rubberized.
Seems much safer to me.
Of course, break away tire should also be in there as another safety thing to be required.
I've also encountered a new european design teeter which is wooden, and has some mechanism in it that helps the center lower and absorb the shock, which keeps the board from bouncing around on the little dogs which sometimes get thrown around on the teeter. I'd like to see this become more common as well. I got to try it out in November, and really liked it.
Has anyone else had the opportunity to run on the rubberized contacts yet? What do you think?
