Run Thrus

Took my boys to run thrus this morning and had fun.Sting was awesome and even Shadow had fun.What was aggravating to watch is people trying to make their dogs run when they were clearly stressed.Running out of the ring, refusing to take jumps or contact obstacles,and watching dogs breaking their start line stays and leaving the ring or just plain yahooing.Made for a longer waiting time for your turn.

My resolution for New Year- every time I see someone struggling with their run I will find one thing I can compliment them on sincerely and do that.
Reinforcement builds behavior in humans just the same as in dogs.
I have done that on occasion but now will put my mind to do it more often.
