Sandstorm was good at the beach!!

We took Sandstorm to the beach yesterday, since it was 80 degrees!! There were lots of people there, he did not bark and his people distance is much better. We even took a walk where people were sitting everywhere! I see a big change. The only time Sandstorm barked/growled was when little kids were about 12 feet or so away from us, I just distracted him. When the kids moved farther away, he was fine even when they were moving. Still, a good improvement.

Good job, Sandstorm!

The more you take him out and get him used to different or unusual situations, the better. You want him to get to the point where new things are kinda like "whatever".

That being said, you also want to be 100% sure of their recall. You don't want them SO confident that they they its ok to stray from Mom too far, and if they do, you need to be able to get them back quickly.
